Welcome to Kindcentrum ’t Kompas, a homely Vlietkinderen location on Eendenplein in The Hague. We provide daycare for children aged 0–4 within one vertical group. Babies, toddlers and preschoolers play and learn together, allowing the youngest to learn from the older ones and the older children to practise care and patience. Our qualified pedagogical staff create a safe yet challenging environment every day. We offer a varied programme that matches the world of young children: toddler gym, music for babies, toddlers and preschoolers, sand and water play, yoga and plenty of reading. We go outside to our garden daily; outdoor play is simply part of the day. Our art studio is also used regularly, where children can freely experiment with materials and let their creativity run wild. We want parents to go to work with peace of mind. That is why we provide everything your child needs: nappies, wipes and other care products are included at no extra cost. Meals are provided by Madaga, a well-known caterer in the childcare sector. We start the morning with fresh fruit and a warm, vegetable-rich lunch is served around noon. Special dietary requirements are of course discussed personally. To monitor each child’s well-being and development, we use a recognised observation tool. The results are discussed with parents on a regular basis; you are always welcome for a chat or to make an appointment yourself. Together we create a warm, familiar place where your child can develop safely.
