't Kiekgat

Welcome to KDV ’t Kiekgat, our daycare centre at Veenweg 22 in Vries. We are part of Stichting SKID Kinderopvang and provide loving care for up to 70 children aged 0 to 4 years in a modern, single-storey building with four group rooms, a central hall and an atelier. Our location is situated on the quiet grounds of Visio De Brink, where hardly any cars drive. We are allowed to use Visio's facilities, such as the children's farm De Kiep, the playground and the shell path. Right next to the building is our large, enclosed garden which we have designed as an activity and discovery garden. Here children can cycle, crawl, slide and run to their heart's content while playfully discovering nature. We work with vertical groups: Nijntje, Dribbel, Olli and Bobbi (toddler group). Our pedagogical staff members are well attuned to each other and form a close-knit team. For parents with irregular working hours, we offer flexible childcare. In addition, we provide pre-school education (VE) to optimally prepare children for primary school. Besides the daycare centre, there is also a toddler playgroup active at our location. For our KDV, the Parent Committee Vries is active, with whom we work closely. We cordially invite you to come by for a tour and get to know our location and our team.
