't Kickertje Warmoesland

Welcome to the Warmoesland day-care location of ’t Kickertje, housed in a beautiful new-build facility since 1 August 2014. At Warmoesland 57 in Den Hoorn we host six day-care groups for children aged 0 to 4. The site is built around a centrally located kitchen where children cook with us at a lowered worktop designed just for them. Next to the kitchen is our studio, a creative space where children can let their imagination run free. At ’t Kickertje Warmoesland we believe children should play outside every day, whatever the weather. Our nature garden is an adventurous place where children can discover, explore and play with muddy feet and hands in the soil. We provide rain boots for every child and the playground wraps around the entire building. For the very youngest we have outdoor sleeping huts called the Lutje Potjes, where children can enjoy a nap in the fresh air. Parents decide whether their child may sleep outside. We offer age-focused activities within the home group, tailored to each child’s development and needs. Creative, cognitive and motor activities alternate. Upon enrolment every child receives a ‘back-and-forth’ bag for spare clothes and personal items. Anne-Roos Heijink is our location manager and is ready to answer all your questions.
