't Hummelke

Welcome to daycare centre 't Hummelke, located at Parallelstraat 41 in the heart of Nuth. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang Nuth, a trusted organisation with over forty years of experience in providing warm, professional care for children aged 0 to 4. Our site has three horizontal age groups: a baby/toddler group, a toddler group and a pre-school group. Together we accommodate up to 45 children, allowing us to remain small-scale and give every child the personal attention they deserve. Our day starts between 06:30 and 08:30 with a calm drop-in period. At 08:30 we share breakfast, followed by a short VVE activity (Early Childhood Education) tailored to the children’s development. From 09:30 to 10:30 guided activities are on the programme: we sing, read aloud, do crafts or explore our own garden. These activities aim to stimulate language, motor skills and social development through play. Afterwards there is free play time, during which children can choose what they want to do and our pedagogical staff support them where necessary. At midday we eat together; bread meals and hot meals alternate, always taking allergies or dietary requirements into account. In our quiet bedrooms children can rest in a familiar environment. The afternoon offers more play and relaxation until parents collect their children between 16:30 and 18:30. We believe it is important for parents and children to feel at home quickly. That is why we work with a permanent team of dedicated staff, use familiar care products and keep communication with home short and clear.
