PO 't Hummelke

Welcome to Peuteropvang ’t Hummelke, located at Haesselderstraat 9 in Geleen. We are part of primary school De Driesprong and provide care for up to 32 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our location features its own secure outdoor playground where children can move and explore freely. We operate vertical groups, allowing children of different ages to play and learn together. This setup fosters social development and gives younger children the opportunity to learn from older toddlers. Our qualified staff guide the children with a warm, open attitude, focusing on all areas of development: language, motor skills, social abilities and independence. Learning through play is central to our approach. We offer various activities such as arts and crafts, reading aloud, singing and outdoor play. Our close cooperation with De Driesprong primary school ensures a smooth transition to kindergarten. We gently prepare children for their school journey while preserving the playful nature of early childhood. We are open Monday through Friday from 08:15 to 12:15. During school holidays we are closed. In the morning, children receive a healthy snack and drinks. We take individual needs into account and work closely with parents to provide every toddler with optimal developmental opportunities in a familiar environment.
