't Hummelhöfke

Welcome to toddler care 't Hummelhöfke, located in Kindcentrum Oirsbeek at In de Pollack 2. We are part of MIK & Spelenderwijs and provide a loving care environment for toddlers aged 2 to 4 years. With us, children have plenty of room for free play and participate in circle activities twice daily. We work with four-weekly themes that connect with toddlers' world of experience. Depending on the theme, we organize activities such as an autumn walk, baking gingerbread cookies, or a trip to the local bakery. When weather permits, toddlers play outside for half an hour each session; in bad weather, we use the gymnasium in the children's center. Every child deserves a healthy start. Therefore, we provide healthy nutrition in the form of fruits and vegetables, water, and children's tea. We believe it's important that children learn a healthy lifestyle from a young age. For a good start in primary school, we offer Pre- and Early Childhood Education (VVE) for all children aged 2 to 4 years. Our pedagogical staff are certified to implement the VVE program Uk & Puk. This program is not about giving lessons, but about cheerful play and discovery. The cheerful Puk is a playmate who involves children in activities and playfully stimulates their speech and language skills, social-emotional skills, motor and sensory skills. Our toddler care is open Monday through Friday mornings from 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM and Monday and Thursday afternoons from 1:00 PM to 4:15 PM. We accommodate up to 16 children per session.
