BSO Partou Riek 1

Welcome to BSO Riek 1 (Sport) by Partou, located on the grounds of football club Emplina at Riek 1 in ’s-Hertogenbosch. We are a sporty after-school care facility where children can enjoy movement, fun and relaxation after school. Our location accommodates up to 22 children aged 4 to 12. Our dedicated, sporty and regular pedagogical staff welcome the children with a smile every day. We believe that enjoying movement is key to healthy development. That’s why we collaborate with various sports professionals to offer current sports and games that match children's interests and needs. You certainly don’t need to be a star athlete; everyone can participate. Our varied activity program guarantees challenge and variety. We provide daily sporty experiences, from traditional team sports to creative movement activities. Children can let off steam on the spacious sports field, with or without equipment, in teams or individually. We use the outdoor space around the football club, providing a free and safe environment to play and move. We also regularly organize excursions outside the location, such as visits to the library, museum, park or other sports venues. For these outings we always prepare thoroughly with an extensive risk assessment and follow our protocol for off-site activities. Parents can indicate via the Partou parent app if they prefer their child not to participate in a specific activity. During school holidays and study days we provide care at BSO Fluitenkruid or at the childcare farm. By bringing together children from different locations, we can organize even more fun and challenging activities. We pay extra attention to the transition to another location by involving children in the preparation and organizing getting-to-know-you activities. Our pedagogical approach focuses on stimulating independence, social skills and enjoyment in movement. We work with fixed groups where children of similar age come together, so activities can be well tailored to their developmental level. The language spoken at our location is Dutch.
