Welcome to Daycare ’t Eigenwijsje, a professional and small-scale childcare centre located right in the heart of Krommenie village. We provide a familiar environment for children aged 0 to 4 years, where personal attention and continuity are our top priorities. Our close-knit team of 14 qualified childcare professionals – all holding MBO-3/SPW3-4 diplomas, paediatric first-aid certificates, emergency-response training and a Certificate of Good Conduct – ensures your child is greeted by a familiar face every day. Our pedagogical approach focuses on five key developmental areas: language and early numeracy, social-emotional growth, gross- and fine-motor skills. We follow a clear plan in which we support, motivate and stimulate each child to develop optimally. Babies and young toddlers eat and sleep according to their own rhythm; physical contact such as cuddling and sitting on a caregiver’s lap is an essential part of the bond between child and staff. Parental involvement is vital to us. We hold regular consultations and take your wishes into account as much as possible. Once a year we schedule a ten-minute meeting to discuss your child’s development. In addition, we publish a newsletter with current information and interesting facts. Our premises at Snuiverstraat 63A feature a spacious XL outdoor playground where children can play and explore to their heart’s content. The groups are organised horizontally, so children are placed with peers of the same age. We comply with the statutory standards of the Dutch Childcare Act and are inspected by the Municipal Health Service (GGD). Thanks to our registration in the National Childcare Register (LRK 216819519) you can apply for childcare allowance. At ’t Eigenwijsje your child feels safe, seen and valued.
