't Boshuis

BSO 't Boshuis is located at Rembrandtplein 1 in Bilthoven and is part of Stichting Humankind. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our location is unique due to its direct access to the forest, allowing children to play and explore outdoors every day. The natural environment is an integral part of our activities and stimulates children's curiosity and independent play. We are open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. The location accommodates up to 40 children, ensuring a small-scale and manageable environment. Our pedagogical staff guide children in discovering nature, engaging in playful tasks, and developing social skills. We follow a child-centered approach that encourages initiative and creativity. The outdoor area is rich in natural materials and offers ample opportunities for climbing, building, hiding, and exploring. We use the seasons and changes in nature to align activities with children's experiences. Indoors, there is a homely atmosphere with various corners where children can play, relax, or do homework. BSO 't Boshuis collaborates with local primary schools, including the Montessori School Bilthoven located at the same address. We pick up children from school and provide a familiar place where they can unwind after the school day and prepare for going home. Our care is designed to offer children a safe and challenging place to develop at their own pace and in their own way.
