Struin Malden tot Mook

Welcome to Struin location Malden to Mook! We are the after-school care where children aged 4 to 12 go on adventure every day in the beautiful nature around Malden, Molenhoek and Mook. From our garage at Broeksingel 88 in Malden, we depart with our characteristic Struin bicycles to the most beautiful places in the region. Our children roam through the vast Heumensoord, splash around the Kraaijenbergse Plassen and climb trees at Heumense Schans. We believe that playing in the wild nature makes children happy and healthy. That's why we offer new nature experiences every day: building huts, searching for frogs, going on adventures together. Our pedagogical staff guide the children in making flower bouquets and grass wreaths, roasting chestnuts on self-made fires and making herb butter from spring plants. We pick up children on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from De Komeet, De Tovercirkel, De Regenboog, De Vuurvogel (only on Monday) and De Grote Lier. With our special Struin bicycles, we safely transport the children to our play locations. On regular school days we stay nearby, but on long days such as during holidays we go further and visit multiple biotopes. At the end of an unforgettable day, you can pick up your child with rosy cheeks and bags full of treasures from nature at the playground behind primary school De Regenboog, from 17:45 to 18:15. Upon request, we also offer a return bicycle service. We are happy to look into possibilities with parents to open new bicycle routes to other schools in the region. Struin Malden to Mook offers space for 115 children and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since July 12, 2021 under number 335321008. We work according to a pedagogical policy plan focused on nature development and sustainability. Our mission is to offer children extra development opportunities by playing in nature and creating connection with nature.
