Stokpaardje

Peuteropvang ’t Stokpaardje has been a trusted place for children aged 2 to 4 in Broek in Waterland since 1970. We started in the old school on Roomeinde, moved to Cornelis Roelestraat, and since 2000 we have been part of Stichting Kinderopvang Waterland (SKW). Since then, we have had a beautiful space in the daycare center building on Nieuwland. Since September 2023, we have an even more beautiful location within the De Havenrakkers community school at Nieuwland 32. Here we provide toddler care in a modern, versatile space with a wide variety of play and development materials. We work with small groups of up to 8 children, allowing us to give personal attention to each child. Our toddler care is a valuable preparation for primary school. Children develop in all areas: social, emotional, motor and cognitive. We offer various activities such as crafts, reading aloud and learning through play. The fun that children experience together is central to this. You can choose how many and which mornings your child attends. We are open from 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM. We have a clear Safety and Health Policy and work according to our PO ’t Stokpaardje SKW Work Plan. Please note that there is usually a waiting list for placement.
