Tzemach Hasadeh

Welcome to Gan Tzemach HaSadeh, the only Jewish professional day-care centre in the Haaglanden region. We provide care for all Jewish children from 12 weeks to 4 years in a small-scale, committed and loving environment at Spaarwaterstraat 200 in The Hague. For more than 20 years parents have trusted our experience and expertise. Our permanent team of qualified pedagogical staff, who continuously attend further training, know each child and their parents well. This familiar bond forms the basis for trust and security. We work in small groups so that every child receives individual attention and we can stimulate each child’s unique development. Our vision is clear: every child is unique, has individual needs and develops at their own pace. Our core values are homeliness, safety, professionalism and knowledge, trust, small scale, observation and stimulating development, Jewish identity and working in a child-centred way. The classrooms, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, bedrooms, kitchen and toilets have been thoroughly renovated and meet the highest safety and hygiene standards. We offer a rich range of activities: lots of music, toddler dance and excursions. In addition, we organise special themed activities around the chagiem (Jewish holidays). Parents are actively involved through a parent committee that advises on the quality of care and helps organise parties and special activities. Each child receives a personal development booklet in which we record daily how the child is doing, what they have eaten and drunk and fun anecdotes. This gives parents a beautiful overview of their child’s development during their time at Gan Tzemach HaSadeh.
