Stichting ROOZ

Stichting ROOZ provides life-span guidance, care and training to children, young people and young adults who, due to a psychological and/or mild intellectual disability, have difficulty fully participating in society. Our location at Horalaan 5 in Ede – ROOZhuis Ede – is a small-scale facility offering specialized care for children from 5 years old with autism, ADHD and/or a mild intellectual disability and an above-average care need. We work from a collaborative approach. Together with clients, caregivers, volunteers, interns and professionals, we build towards independence. This collaboration ensures accessible and affordable care and contributes to greater social involvement. Our guidance is aimed at increasing the self-reliance of our clients and their network, so that each client can participate as optimally as possible in society with as little professional support as possible. In ROOZhuis Ede, we combine care and welfare in an innovative regional lodging, learning, knowledge and meeting house. Here we not only provide specialized care, but also guidance and treatment in the home situation. Our approach focuses on strengthening the skills of children and young people, based on their possibilities and talents. We offer a safe and structured environment in which children can develop at their own pace and level.
