Elorah Genemuiden Rehobôthschool

Welcome to Elorah Genemuiden Rehobôthschool, where we provide Christian Reformed childcare with heart and soul for toddlers aged 2 and 3. Our daycare centre is located on the ground floor of Rehobôth School at Jan van Nassaustraat 3 in Genemuiden. Guided by the Bible, children discover every day that they are valuable, unique and a precious gift. Together with parents, we guide them as they grow and develop. We use the ‘Toddler Start’ programme by Kibeo. Through play, children practise language, numeracy, motor skills and social-emotional development. Central to this is the doll Bas, who experiences recognisable, fun and exciting adventures together with the toddlers. Bas teaches them to make friends and understand concepts like ‘big’ and ‘small’ in the theme ‘Giants and Gnomes’. While singing we count candles on the birthday cake and practise the Dutch language. Our Christian Reformed identity is tangibly present. We pray, sing and read from the Bible every day. Habits from home are reflected in the group, so children quickly feel at home. Our pedagogical staff have a Christian Reformed background and give each child loving attention. We teach children to revere God and instil gratitude and charity in them. With wonder they discover God’s creation together with peers. The toddler group is open Monday to Friday from 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM. There is room for up to 16 children in horizontal age groups. We value parental involvement; there is an active parent council (LOR) and we regularly organise parent activities. For a continuous learning path we work closely with the Rehobôth School team.
