Stichting Peuterspeelzalen Hardinxveld-Giessendam De Ukkepuk

Peuterspeelzaal De Ukkepuk is a branch of Stichting Peuterspeelzalen Hardinxveld-Giessendam, located inside the IKC Merwede building at Hobbemastraat 5 in Boven-Hardinxveld. We provide toddler care for up to 16 children aged approximately 2 to 4 years. Our bright, spacious group room is open to all toddlers, regardless of background, religion or culture. The children are guided by qualified pedagogical staff who hold VVE (pre- and early-school education) certificates. Through play they work on the children’s all-round development, so that each child can start primary school with a well-filled backpack of skills. We offer VVE programmes that provide a rich language environment; children with language delays receive extra activities based on an individual attention plan. For children from about 3 years who need more challenge, we run a 3+ group. During these afternoon sessions the children are encouraged to develop independence and social skills, preparing them even better for primary school. Morning or afternoon sessions are available.
