Welcome to Peuteropvang Humpie Dumpie, located at Karekiethof 11 in the heart of Ouderkerk aan den IJssel. Under the umbrella of Stichting Peuterspeelgroep Ouderkerk aan den IJssel we provide a safe, cheerful and challenging environment where toddlers aged 2 to 4 develop naturally through play. Our bright, spacious group room invites discovery: children can play freely, cut and paste, look at picture books and practise new skills together with peers. We work in a horizontal group, so all activities are perfectly tailored to the world of toddlers. Humpie Dumpie’s qualified pedagogical staff greet every child warmly and guide each one individually. Outdoors we offer a secure green playground where children can run, ride bikes and build sandcastles. The centre is open Monday to Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.; a whole morning filled with play, social contact and quiet moments when needed. In short, at Humpie Dumpie toddlers find a second home where they can grow with confidence.
