Stichting Okido Nederweert

Welcome to Stichting Okido Nederweert-Eind, our daycare centre located in the building of Primary School De Tweesprong at Sint Gerardusstraat 22 in Nederweert-Eind. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 in a homely, safe environment where every child can develop at their own pace. Our qualified pedagogical staff work according to a shared vision that puts the individual child first. We follow your child’s rhythm: sleeping, eating and playing happen whenever he or she needs it. For the youngest ones we provide bottle feeding, change nappies and offer quiet sleeping areas. Older children can join the VVE toddler programme “Peuterplein”, in which we work on language development, creative expression and social skills through play and discovery. We pay extra attention to speech-language stimulation using proven methods. Our location features a natural discovery garden where children can play, explore and experience the seasons. Inside, the space is arranged with corners that invite role-play, building, reading and arts & crafts. We work with small groups so that every child receives the attention they deserve. Parents are actively involved through parent meetings and are always welcome to drop in for a chat or questions.
