Welcome to KDV De Broekies of Villa Polsbroek, part of Waardse Kids Childcare. Our day-care centre is situated in a rural spot right in the heart of Polsbroek village, at Vrijheer de Graeffweg 22 – conveniently next to the local supermarket where we often pop in with the children for a quick errand. The brand-new building is spacious and bright, offering plenty of play opportunities and its own garden. De Broekies has one vertical group for a maximum of 14 children from six weeks up to primary-school age. We believe every child should feel safe and at home. A predictable daily rhythm alternates play and learning moments with rest, cuddles, meals and naps. Each morning we start by singing the good-morning song together, so every child knows who will be joining us that day. We go outside twice a day – whatever the weather – to play and enjoy fresh air, babies included. A special feature is our outdoor sleeping beds: children can nap wonderfully in the fresh air under our outdoor-sleep protocol. Indoors every child has a personal cot and we follow the home routine whenever possible. Through play we foster development with the recognised Uk & Puk programme. Using engaging themes we craft, sing, move and explore together, stimulating cognitive, motor and social skills while paying attention to values and norms. Our qualified pedagogical staff are warm yet clear, ensuring every child feels seen and secure. Parents stay close via our parent app KOS. We share personal photos and messages so you can enjoy your child’s adventures, and you can easily view or update information.
