Stichting Kinderopvang KOOZIE

Welcome to Stichting Kinderopvang KOOZIE, located at Molenwater 4a in the heart of Middelburg. We are an independent childcare centre that has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 2010 and offers places for 57 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our day-care centre is part of KOOZIE, an organisation that values flexibility and gives parents the opportunity to combine work and care in a pleasant way. At KOOZIE we work with horizontal age groups: a separate baby, toddler and pre-school group. This arrangement provides calm, safety and allows age-appropriate activities. For the very youngest we follow a fixed daily routine with plenty of rest moments, while the pre-school group is offered a challenging programme. We use the proven Uk & Puk method, through which we stimulate language, numeracy and social skills in a playful way. In addition, we run a toddler playgroup (2-4 years) during school weeks in the morning; a first, playful preparation for primary school. For children from 3.5 years, we are the only centre in Middelburg to offer a pre-school where they learn to live and work together through play. Our spacious outdoor area invites exploration and movement. The garden is equipped with climbing and clambering areas, sandpits and various play equipment that stimulate gross motor skills. Inside we have bright, homely group rooms that are tailored to the developmental stage of the children. Each group has its own sleeping/rest corner, so that even the youngest get the rest they need. Our team of dedicated pedagogical staff is ready every day to give your child a safe, familiar and challenging day. In short, at KOOZIE on Molenwater 4a, children aged 0-4 find a second home where they develop into independent, social and curious children through play.
