Stichting Kinderopvang & Onderwijs Schiermonnikoog KDV Combigroep is located within primary school Yn de Mande on the unique island of Schiermonnikoog. Our combination group provides flexible daycare for up to six children aged 0 to 4 years. We operate a vertical group structure, where babies, toddlers and preschoolers play and grow together in one safe, homely space. Dutch is the language of communication and we deliver structured pre-school education (VVE) focused on language, numeracy, motor skills and social-emotional development. Thanks to our small scale we know every child and family personally, allowing us to respond fully to individual needs. The setting is easily reached from the village centre and, with the school playground and island nature right on our doorstep, offers abundant opportunities for outdoor activities. We have been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 1 January 2024 under number 303628595.
