Stichting Kinderopvang & Onderwijs Schiermonnikoog BSO Combigroep provides after-school care for up to 11 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our BSO has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since January 1, 2024, under registration number 321211327. We are located at Frederik Hendrik Gasaustraat 22 in Schiermonnikoog, on the premises of primary school Yn de Mande. This unique location allows children to walk directly and safely from school to after-school care without additional transportation. We operate in a combination group where children of different ages play and learn together. This horizontal group structure stimulates social development and gives older children the opportunity to guide younger ones. Our team of pedagogical staff provides care on school days before and after school, during teacher training days, and during school holidays. We tailor our activities to the children's world of experience, utilizing both the school facilities and the natural environment of Schiermonnikoog island. As part of Stichting Kinderopvang & Onderwijs Schiermonnikoog, we work closely with primary school Yn de Mande. This collaboration ensures a smooth transition from school to after-school care and allows us to align our approach with the children's daily experiences. We offer children both the rest and structure they need after a school day, as well as ample space for free play, creative activities, and outdoor play in the beautiful natural surroundings of our island.
