Stichting Kinderopvang DLS – trapje op is a small-scale daycare centre located at Brinkpoortstraat 7 in the historic centre of Deventer. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our centre is part of Stichting Kinderopvang DLS, established through the merger of peuterspeelzaal Trapje Op and BSO Deventer Leerschool. This partnership enables us to offer a warm, safe and familiar environment in which young children can develop at their own pace. Housed in a former gymnasium dating from 1894, our building is spacious, bright and full of character. The layout is carefully designed to meet the needs of babies and toddlers: quiet sleeping corners, a soft baby area and a stimulating toddler zone where the youngest can safely crawl, stand and take their first steps. Our qualified pedagogical staff provide individual attention and closely monitor each child’s development. At trapje op, shared enjoyment is at the heart of everything we do. We follow a predictable daily rhythm with fixed routines around meals, naps and play. Children can explore our enclosed garden and we often take short walks through Deventer’s historic city centre.
