We are Stichting Kinderopvang CNS Putten, located at Verzetslaan 17 in Putten. From this location we provide daycare for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our facility is part of CNS Kinderopvang, an organisation that has been active in Christian childcare in the municipality of Putten for over twenty years. Our focus is on creating a safe, loving environment where young children have the space to develop optimally. Our pedagogical staff work according to a clear pedagogical policy laid out in our pedagogical quality tree. This tree is visibly displayed in the group so parents can see what we stand for and how we work. We believe it's important that children see as many familiar faces as possible, so they feel secure and parents have confidence in our care. For the youngest children we offer quiet sleeping areas and a separate baby corner where tailored activities are provided. Toddlers and preschoolers receive playful language and numeracy stimulation through our early childhood education programme (VE). This programme starts when a child is 2.5 years old and focuses on preventing developmental delays. Our VE staff are specially trained for this and work with the observation and registration system 'KIJK!' to closely monitor each child's development. Our facility has its own outdoor playground where children can go outside daily. We work with horizontal groups, where babies, toddlers and preschoolers are cared for in age groups. This provides calm and structure and makes it possible to adapt activities to the child's developmental stage. Flexible daycare is possible: parents can request extra days or sessions via the parent portal up to 48 hours in advance, depending on available space. We attach great importance to good communication with parents. Each child is assigned a fixed mentor who is the point of contact for parents. Development discussions take place regularly and parents are actively involved in themed activities. We believe it's important that parents know what's happening and how their child is developing.
