Welcome to Stichting Kinderdagverblijf Tik-Tak, located at Liesveld 1 in Wateringen. We are a small-scale daycare centre that offers loving care to up to 36 children aged 0 to 4 in a warm, homely atmosphere. Our close-knit team of permanent, experienced childcare professionals welcomes your child every day with enthusiasm and provides a genuine second home. Tik-Tak operates three horizontal groups—babies, toddlers, and preschoolers—so your child grows up with peers in a safe environment and learns social skills through play. Our small size makes personal attention and short lines of communication possible; you know us and we know your child. Our pedagogical approach centres on making every child feel safe, seen, and loved. We provide structure and predictability so children can flourish. In a playful way we implement the VVE programme Uk & Puk, which stimulates language development through reading aloud, singing, and creative activities. Crafting, making music, and outdoor play in our own garden are all part of the daily routine. For the youngest we provide bottle feeding according to the home schedule and change nappies in quiet bedrooms with cots. Toddlers receive a healthy bread meal and fresh fruit in between. We take allergies and dietary needs into account and use our own care products. Children sleep in separate bedrooms, either during the day or after lunch, always under supervision. Our spacious garden offers safe outdoor play and is only accessible through a secure entrance. You are warmly invited to come for an informal tour and experience the atmosphere.
