Stichting Kinderdagverblijf Deugniet

Kinderdagverblijf Deugniet is a small-scale, homely daycare centre located at Bottelroosstraat 3 in Groningen. We provide care for a maximum of 16 children in one vertical group, where children aged 0 to 4 play and learn together. Our daycare was born from the passion of two experienced childcare professionals with 17 years of combined experience in childcare. We believe in a personal approach where every child feels safe and at home. Everything we do revolves around learning through play. We organise activities both indoors and outdoors, tailored to the age and interests of the children. Each month has a different central theme, through which we support children's development in a playful and natural way. Our spaces are set up with challenging corners and different toy boxes, allowing children to discover where their interests lie. We believe it's important that children know what to expect. That's why we work with fixed routines and clear structure. At the start, we always take time for a gentle settling-in period. We invite parents for a cup of coffee or tea, so your child sees that you're still there for a while. This builds trust. Then we say a clear goodbye and your child knows you'll be back later. KDV Deugniet is open 51 weeks per year. Only in week 52, between Christmas and New Year, are we closed. For parents who need early childcare, we offer an early service from 7:00 or 7:30 AM.
