Welcome to Preschool ‘Eigenwijs’ in Nederhemert. We are a Christian preschool located at Kerkplein 2a, where children aged 2.5 to 4 learn through play and are prepared for primary school. Our preschool is part of the Stichting Christelijke Voorschool Eigenwijs and works closely with primary school De Wegwijzer, ensuring a smooth transition for your child. Our day begins with arrival and free play. We then pray together, share a Bible story and sing Christian songs. After that the children do a craft or take part in a sensory-motor activity. Following a shared eating and drinking moment we go outside or use the gym for movement. We end the morning with a language or maths activity and some more free play. We work in small groups with a maximum of 16 children, so every child receives the attention they deserve. Our Christian identity is tangible in everything we do: we live from the Bible, the Word of God, and our activities are tailored to the age and development of the toddlers. Arts and crafts, language development, music and outdoor play are fixed parts of our programme.
