Welcome to BSO Vondelpark, a small-scale after-school care located in the heart of Vondelpark. We provide children aged 4 to 12 with a second home where they can play, discover and grow after school and during school holidays. Our unique building is situated right in the green heart of Amsterdam, complete with our own natural playground and vegetable garden where children engage daily in cooking and gardening activities. We put children at the center of everything we do. We believe in the power of self-discovery and learning by doing. That's why we cook together with the children every single day. From harvesting vegetables from our own garden to preparing healthy meals – children not only learn where food comes from, but also develop important skills such as collaboration, planning and creative thinking. Our natural playground offers endless opportunities for outdoor play and adventure. Children climb, build, hide and discover nature in a safe yet challenging environment. The vegetable garden serves as a living classroom where seasons are experienced and children witness how seeds grow into food for their plates. As part of Stichting BSO Kinderkookkafé Vondelpark, with over 40 years of experience in childcare, we provide a trusted and professional environment. We work with small groups ensuring plenty of personal attention for each child. Our pedagogical staff are specialized in guiding children in after-school care and create a warm, homely atmosphere where children feel safe and valued.
