Stichting Abbo Kindcentra Kinderopvang - KDV Kindcentrum Montessori

We are KDV Kindcentrum Montessori, part of Stichting Abbo Kindcentra, located in the Montessori school annexe at Thomas de Rouckstraat 2 in Bergen op Zoom. In our ground-floor day-care group ‘Plom’ we welcome up to 16 children aged 0 to 4. Our approach is inspired by Maria Montessori’s vision: a prepared environment in which every child is free to develop at his or her own pace. Our pedagogical policy is drawn up in accordance with the Childcare Act (IKK) and in consultation with the parent committee. Core competences such as emotional safety, personal competence, social competence and learning norms and values are central. We work with a clear daily rhythm, fixed staff-child ratios and the four-eyes principle. Bottle-feeding is provided for babies and quiet sleeping areas are available. Parents stay informed through our parent app and the parent portal Konnect. We offer pre-school education programmes and tailor activities to the world of babies and toddlers. Our rooms are safe, bright and inviting, equipped with Montessori materials that invite exploration. In short, KDV Kindcentrum Montessori offers a safe, warm and development-oriented environment for children aged 0 to 4, where freedom, independence and respect are key.
