Welcome to KDV Kindcentrum Krabbenkooi, part of Stichting Abbo Kindcentra. In the heart of Bergen op Zoom’s historic centre, at Coehoornstraat 28, our day-care group ‘Zeester’ offers a home-like setting for 14 children aged 0–4. Our team of caring, experienced professionals – Britt, Daniëlle, Linda, Bente and Rebecca – work closely with De Krabbenkooi primary school, creating one familiar environment where your baby or toddler feels safe and secure. We foster development through play using the proven Piramide method. Every day we provide rich activities tailored to the very youngest: singing, story time, messy painting, exploring different materials and plenty of outdoor play in our secure garden. Each activity targets language, motor and social skills, carefully matched to your child’s age and stage. Our rooms are warm and homely. The youngest have a separate sleeping room with cots and beds so your child can rest whenever needed. Bottle feeding, fresh fruit and healthy snacks are part of our daily care. Consistent, familiar faces help your child build strong bonds with our staff. Thanks to our unique partnership with the school, children experience a smooth transition; toddlers can already get to know the kindergarten teachers and school environment through play.
