Stichting Abbo Kindcentra Kinderopvang - KDV Kindcentrum Kiemkade

Welcome to KDV Kindcentrum Kiemkade, part of Stichting Abbo Kindcentra. We provide daycare for up to 48 children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment at Burgemeester Blomlaan 2 in Bergen op Zoom. In our separate unit "Ratjetoe", we use horizontal grouping, with babies and toddlers cared for separately from preschoolers. Our pedagogical staff follow a clear pedagogical policy developed in consultation with the parent committee. Core competencies include emotional safety, personal competence, social competence, and learning norms and values. We offer early childhood education (VE) and use the parent app Konnect to keep parents informed about their child's experiences. Children sleep in dedicated sleeping areas and have access to their own outdoor playground. We believe it is important that every child feels safe and secure, with the space to develop at their own pace. Parents are actively involved in policy through our parent committee, which is represented in both the Local Kindcentrumsraad and the Central Kindcentrumsraad of Abbo Kindcentra.
