Stichting Abbo Kindcentra Kinderopvang - BSO Kindcentrum Kiemkade

Welcome to BSO Kindcentrum Kiemkade, the after-school care service of Abbo Kindcentra located at Burgemeester Blomlaan 2 in Bergen op Zoom. We provide care for 40 children aged 4 to 12 in our Wiebelhuis, which offers two dedicated rooms plus access to the play hall and spacious schoolyard. Our centre is part of a vibrant east-district location where education, childcare and support are united under one roof. Freedom for every child is our guiding principle. Time at the BSO is free time, therefore we offer a wide range of activities so every child can find something appealing: technical, musical, philosophical, creative and sporty. We work indoors and outdoors, individually or in small groups, and we respect different interests, cultures and ages. During term time we organise activities, but participation is never compulsory. In the holidays we turn it into a real celebration: we sometimes visit another Abbo centre for a joint activity or head out on an exciting excursion. Our qualified pedagogical staff support the children with genuine passion. Personal contact with parents is very important to us. When you pick up your child there is always time for a quick chat, and once a year we invite you for a growth conversation. Through our parent app Konnect the team shares photos and messages, so you can follow your child’s experiences. Our pedagogical plan – drawn up together with the parent committee – is available on our website, so you know exactly how we care for your child and what you can expect from us.
