Stichting Abbo Kindcentra Kinderopvang - BSO Kindcentrum Dorpsstraat

BSO Kindcentrum Dorpsstraat is part of Stichting Abbo Kindcentra and is located on the upper floor and attic of the characteristic building at Dorpsstraat 53 in Halsteren. We provide after-school care for 33 children aged 4 to 12 years, divided over two homely furnished groups. Our BSO children have access to various specially designed spaces. There is a cozy TV room where children can relax, a creative craft room for all expressions of their imagination, a woodworking room for the real doers, and a games room where friendships are forged over board games and social activities. Outside, we have a newly landscaped garden and our own football field where children can run, play and sports to their heart's content. This green outdoor space invites discovery and adventure, offering plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and sports activities. We work together with primary school St. Maarten and primary school de Springplank in Halsteren. Our pedagogical professionals Joke and Miranda guide the children with love and expertise. They know each child and understand exactly where their interests lie, making every child feel seen and valued. Our vision is that every child is unique and learns, develops and grows in their own way. We provide a safe and stimulating environment where children can be themselves and discover who they are. We do this from our conviction that children should experience freedom in who they are, with trust in their own learning pace, while we recognize and further develop talents.
