STH IKC De Buut

Welcome to STH IKC De Buut, our daycare center located at Lijnbaan 317 in Zoetermeer. We are part of Gro-up Kinderopvang and provide loving care for up to 15 children aged 0 to 4 years at this location. Safety, trust and development are at the heart of everything we do. Our certified pedagogical staff work with a clear daily schedule that provides structure and routine. The day starts with a communal breakfast where children can choose from various types of sandwich fillings. We only serve halal meat products and offer milk or water during meals. Throughout the day, we provide varied snacks such as crackers, yogurt or fresh fruit. Creative development is highly valued in our approach. Children have daily opportunities to engage in arts and crafts using paint, clay, bread dough and various types of paper. We work thematically and tailor activities to the age and interests of the children. During free play, children can choose what to play with and whether to play indoors or outdoors. We use natural materials as much as possible to stimulate imagination. For our youngest children, we have separate sleeping areas where rest and hygiene are paramount. We maintain separate small circle groups for younger and older toddlers to give each child the attention they deserve. When you pick up your child, you always receive a personal handover: we tell you in detail what your child has experienced, eaten and discovered. Our collaboration with De Buut primary school ensures a smooth transition to primary education. We work with shared themes, organize toddler mornings and joint outings. When your child is almost 4 years old, we arrange a warm handover to primary school.
