STH Het Toekannest

Welcome to STH Het Toekannest, our warm daycare center in the green heart of Zoetermeer. Since 2012, we have been welcoming 32 children aged 0 to 4 years daily in our bright, spacious building at Zanzibarplein 72. We work according to the principle 'becoming wiser through play' and provide children with a safe foundation to grow and discover. We operate with two horizontal groups: a baby group for children aged 0-2 years and a toddler group for children aged 2-4 years. In this small-scale setting, each child receives the personal attention they deserve. Our pedagogical staff stimulate curiosity by offering new activities every day, from reading aloud under our tree house to playing outside among the bird houses in our 200 m² natural garden. At STH Het Toekannest, we believe that every child is unique and may develop at their own pace. We provide preschool education and serve fresh, healthy meals throughout the day. Our opening hours are from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with half-day options also available. In our themed corners, children can playfully become acquainted with words, numbers, colors and shapes while enjoying crafts, singing and playing together with peers.
