Startbaan

Welcome to our after-school care at Smirnoffstraat 15 in Sassenheim. We are located within De Startbaan primary school, allowing children to walk directly from their familiar classroom to our space after school. This location offers a safe and homely environment where children aged 4 to 12 can be themselves and unwind after an intensive school day. Our pedagogical staff are ready to welcome the children with a smile and a listening ear. We work closely with the school to ensure a smooth transition from school time to after-school care. Children have the space to play, do crafts, move around outside, or simply take a moment to relax. We maintain a fixed daily structure that provides peace and regularity, while still giving children sufficient freedom of choice. The location makes use of De Startbaan's facilities, such as the playroom, schoolyard, and the room specially set up for after-school care. We regularly organize themed activities tailored to the children's world of experience. Additionally, there is ample opportunity for free play, where children can let their imagination run wild. During school holidays and study days, we remain open and offer an extensive holiday program with fun outings and creative workshops. Parents can flexibly register their child for the days they need. We communicate through the parent portal Social Schools, where parents can always see what their child has done and view photos of the activities.
