StapYes! is our toddler group within childcare center De Zeebaboe, located on the ground floor of primary school De Jozef at Planciusstraat 34 in Hoek van Holland. We provide professional toddler care for up to 26 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our location has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since August 24, 2018, under number 221599903. Our vision is based on "freedom within boundaries". We believe children develop best when given space to discover within clear frameworks. Our pedagogical professionals provide a safe and stimulating environment where children learn through play. We work with four pedagogical goals: providing emotional security, developing personal competencies, stimulating social behavior, and transferring norms and values. Each morning starts with a fixed structure. Children are brought between 8:30 and 9:00 AM, after which we start together with a circle time. Here we introduce new materials and discuss the week's theme. Then children can play freely in different corners: a home corner for role-play, a construction corner for building, a creative corner for crafts, and a quiet reading corner with picture books. We work with Kiki, our VE program for preschool education, through which we closely monitor each child's development via observations. Outdoor play is a daily part of our program. We use the safe playground of the primary school where children can run, climb and discover. We also regularly organize small excursions in the immediate vicinity of the school. Parents receive daily photos and reports through our KOVnet app, ensuring transparent communication. We work closely with primary school De Jozef for a smooth transition to primary education. Our pedagogical professionals are trained in recognizing developmental delays and collaborate with the consultation bureau, CJG and other specialists when extra support is needed. Parents are invited 2-3 times per year for a development meeting, where we jointly review their child's progress.
