Spring, BSO Hummelburg

BSO Hummelburg is a welcoming, small-scale after-school care centre located right in the heart of Blitterswijck. We share a building with St. Anna primary school, so children can stay in their familiar surroundings after class. We provide care for up to 23 children aged 4 to 13, all in one base group. This keeps everything personal and easy to oversee. Our large outdoor space is a real asset: the playground includes a proper football field where children can run, play and let off steam. Indoors we follow the Spring Actief programme. Together with the children we design varied, exciting activities that match their interests—think sports and games, but also crafts, construction and imaginative play. We believe children learn best when they help decide what to do. BSO Hummelburg is open after school on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. During term time we are ready to welcome the children. In the holidays we team up with BSO Kwaak in Wanssum so parents can rely on continuous care. A steady team of professional pedagogical staff ensures every child feels safe and at home; there is always time for a chat, a game or a hug.
