Spot4kids BSO De Nieuwe Wiel

Spot4kids BSO De Nieuwe Wiel is located inside primary school De Nieuwe Wiel at Juliana van Stolberglaan 65 in Lopik. We provide after-school care for up to 24 children aged 4 to 6. Our BSO has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 1 January 2023 under number 105323688. Our rooms are right next to the school’s kindergarten classes and look out onto the familiar schoolyard where children play outside every day. We have two cosy classrooms converted into a play house for the youngest and a meeting place for older BSO children, complete with a football table, plenty of craft materials and board games. We also use the gym for sports and movement activities. Every afternoon starts with a quiet moment: having a snack and drink together while talking about the school day. Then we decide—together with the children—what to do next. We love going on adventures in the neighbourhood, exploring the nicest spots and organising creative and sports activities. The children’s ideas are central; they are full of fresh inspiration, so no two afternoons are ever the same. At about 16:30 the children receive a sweet treat and the main activities wind down. Parents start arriving from 16:45 and we close at 18:30. We are open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 14:30 onwards, as well as on study days and during school holidays, so children can always stay and play in their familiar surroundings.
