Sportstuif Venray MHCV

Sportstuif Venray MHCV is the premier sports-oriented after-school care facility located on the grounds of hockey club MHCV at Leunseweg 16 in Venray. We welcome children aged 4 to 12 to a place where they can move, play and discover after school. Our site features multiple sports fields and a welcoming clubhouse; indoors we use the canteen as a quiet and creative space for reading, drawing or building, while outdoors there is plenty of room for sport and play. Athletic development is at the heart of what we do. Every day we organise varied activities such as football, hockey, dodgeball, softball, golf and frisbee, as well as creative movement games and mini tournaments. All activities are tailored to the children’s ages and interests so that everyone can participate at their own level. We also take regular trips to adventurous playgrounds like Roeffen Mart, Klein Zwitserland and BillyBird Park, as well as other surprising destinations. During outings every child wears a blue Sportstuif T-shirt so we remain visible and safe as a group. Rest and relaxation are equally important. Whether it is unwinding on a picnic blanket in the sun, enjoying lunch together or chatting with friends, we ensure a healthy balance between action and calm. Our team consists of five permanent, enthusiastic supervisors: two men and three women who are passionate about sport and working with children. This mix creates a safe, familiar and dynamic environment in which every child feels seen and heard. Sportstuif Venray MHCV has room for up to 50 children and officially opened on 22 June 2021. We work closely with the hockey club: for every club member who uses our service, € 100 is donated to the club. Together we build a sporting future for all children in Venray.
