Sportstuif Helmond de Braak

Sportstuif Helmond de Braak is the go-to sporty after-school care located on the grounds of hockey and football club VMHC Basko at Braakse Bosdijk 1A in Helmond. Every day we give children aged 4 to 12 plenty of space to let off steam after school on our large sports fields. Under the guidance of our pedagogical staff, the children playfully discover a wide range of sports and games – from football and hockey to tag, live-stratego and cooperative games. All activities are tailored to age, interest and group level so that every child is challenged and has fun. Our site offers spacious changing rooms, a cosy canteen that doubles as our indoor area, and direct access to several sports pitches. Inside, children can read, draw, build or simply relax, as well as eat and drink together. We also organise regular excursions and special events such as a parent-child tournament and themed days during the holidays. We collect the children safely from school in our recognisable blue Sportstuif cars, on foot when a school is within walking distance, or by taxi when needed, allowing parents to work worry-free. Flexibility is key for us: parents choose which days their child attends and may change these from week to week, keeping the care in line with the family’s changing schedule. Our mission is simple: to broaden children’s horizons through sport and play so that they naturally develop a healthy and active lifestyle. At Sportstuif every child is free to be themselves and explore where their interests lie. We see children going home proud, full of stories about the day’s sporting adventures.
