Sportpeuterwereld Drieburcht is the sporty toddler care centre located in the Drieburcht sports complex at Wagnerplein 1, Tilburg North. From age 2, toddlers are welcome to learn and move in a unique, playful way. We combine an early-years education programme (VE) with sports and exercise, so children not only discover letters, colours and shapes, but also develop their motor skills. A morning with us starts with free play, followed by a joint circle time where we introduce the current theme. After enjoying fruit together, toddlers choose whether they want to do sports or crafts. Our rooms are specially designed with a dance studio, construction corner, doll corner and a large gym where we organise daily movement sessions. We also use the swimming pool for swimming lessons—no waiting list! Our team consists of sport-pedagogy professionals who know how to let toddlers move and learn in a playful way. We work with themed ‘start blocks’ such as ‘Forest’ and end every morning with a story or song in the circle. Care is available from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM, perfectly matching the toddler rhythm. Being located in a sports complex allows us to offer an unparalleled sporty programme. Toddlers develop cognitively, socially and physically.
