Sportify Kids locatie Step Up

Welcome to BSO Step Up by Sportify Kids, located at Sportlaan 145A in Purmerend. Since 4 September 2023 we have provided specialised after-school care for up to 22 children with developmental delay and/or mild intellectual disability. Our unique programme rests on four pillars: sport & play, creativity, music & drama, and free time. These pillars shape every afternoon and guarantee a varied, challenging schedule once school is out. Every child is at the heart of what we do. We believe every child has the right to develop to the fullest in a safe, familiar environment. Our team of pedagogical staff offers small-scale, expert guidance tailored to each child’s individual needs and abilities. Thanks to the limited group size we can give plenty of personal attention and work intensively on social, motor and creative skills. Sport & play is a key part of the day. We make full use of the spacious sports facilities on site and in the neighbourhood, allowing children to move and play under professional guidance. Creative activities such as arts, crafts and building stimulate imagination and self-confidence. Music and drama provide a stage to express emotions and to cooperate in small performances or musical games. During free time children choose their own activity: quietly reading a book, playing board games or simply relaxing after a busy school day. BSO Step Up works closely with parents, schools and, when needed, therapists to support each child’s development. We offer a warm, secure place where children feel at home and look forward to coming.
