Sportify Kids location De Mini’s is located within primary school Het Baken at Grevelingenmeer 62 in Purmerend. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years, based on a unique and playful pedagogical concept built around four pillars: Sport & Play, Creativity, Music and Free Time. Every morning from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM we welcome toddlers into a homely space designed to give them a safe and secure feeling. Three times a week the programme includes toddler gym: together with our sports instructor the children go to the gym hall to climb, scramble, roll and jump. In addition, we set aside time daily for creative activities such as drawing, crafting and singing, always tailored to the toddler’s world of experience. Our pedagogical staff combine care with challenge. We use baby and children’s gestures to stimulate language development and provide space for mindfulness and yoga exercises that help children become more aware of their body and feelings. In a playful way we practise vocabulary, numeracy and social skills, ensuring a smooth transition to primary school. Parents choose De Mini’s because we work on a small scale with a maximum of 14 places. This allows us to give real attention to each child and provide tailor-made development. We believe it is important that toddlers have fun, feel safe and are given space to discover themselves. Together with parents we create a warm and stable environment in which every child can grow.
