SportBSO Lent

SportBSO Lent is a sporty after-school care facility located at football club V.V. D.V.O.L., Jo Eversstraat 2 in Lent. Since 24 August 2020 we have provided after-school care for primary-school children with sport, exercise and a healthy lifestyle at the heart of everything we do. Our site offers four pitches, two of which are artificial turf, changing rooms, a kitchen, toilets and a spacious clubhouse that we have converted into a relaxation and recreation area. We pick children up every day from the primary schools De Verwondering, Het Talent, De Windroos, De Geldershof and De Verbinding in Lent. Children who can cycle independently are also welcome to ride straight to the club. Fun and personal development are our priorities: every child is free to be themselves and is given space to grow at their own pace in sporting, social and personal areas. A typical afternoon starts with fruit and a drink. After changing, the children head out onto the pitch with our qualified pedagogical staff for sport and play activities. After exercising, a healthy refreshment is waiting in the clubhouse. Children then choose whether to chill inside or continue playing sport outside. From 17:15 all children come inside to relax together until they are picked up. During school holidays and study days we offer a varied daily programme with tournaments, clinics, excursions and extra time to relax. We work together with local sports clubs and keep children engaged with healthy eating and sufficient sleep. Both flexible and regular care are possible; we have a maximum of 33 regular and 10 flexible places available.
