SportBSO Huissen

SportBSO Huissen is located at Blauwenburcht 1 in Huissen and provides after-school care for primary school children. Our mission is to help children relax through physical activity by offering sports and play activities. Child development—personal, athletic, and social—is at the heart of everything we do. We focus on outdoor sports and games, making the after-school period both fun and healthy. After a day at school, our location is the place where children can release energy, develop new skills, and simply enjoy themselves. They learn how to handle winning and losing while practicing a variety of sports skills. Each week highlights a different sport or game, exposing children to diverse activities and promoting broad motor development. We actively partner with local sports clubs to enrich the sporting experience. In addition to sports, children can also choose to play board games, read, or do crafts indoors. We pick the children up from school, provide a healthy snack and drinks, and offer a safe, familiar environment where fun comes first. Our site accommodates up to 33 children and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 9 August 2022. A small, enthusiastic team works hard every day to create a welcoming place for every child. At SportBSO Huissen, every child feels at home and free to be themselves.
