SportBSO Het Turfschip

Welcome to SportBSO Het Turfschip, the sporty after-school care in the heart of Etten-Leur! We are located in a unique spot: a full sports hall on the 1st floor of the ‘Het Turfschip’ building at Schipperstraat 2. Our focus is on movement, fun and personal development. Our enthusiastic team picks up children after school from various primary schools in the area and brings them to our location, where a full programme awaits. Our day starts with some quiet time: free play, crafts, reading or doing homework under guidance. Then it is time for action! From 15:45 to 17:00 we run sports and games in the gym. Think football, basketball, dance, tag and much more. We work with age groups, but children can always indicate they prefer to join another group. After sports there is a healthy snack with fruit and drinks. The last hours are for free play or an extra activity until parents arrive. SportBSO Het Turfschip offers before-school care (07:00 – 08:45), after-school care (from 11:30/14:00 – 18:15), holiday care (07:00 – 18:15) and flexible care. During holidays we plan extra trips to sports clubs, swimming pools, playgrounds, the beach, heath and forest. All under the guidance of qualified pedagogical staff with a passion for sports and children. Location manager Liselotte van Luijt leads the team. With her background from the Academy of Physical Education she ensures every day is a perfect mix of movement, relaxation and social development.
