SportBSO De Karmel

Welcome to SportBSO De Karmel, the sporty after-school care in Bergen op Zoom! Located inside the De Karmel sports centre at Karmel 4, we offer children aged 4 to 13 a safe and active place to move, play and discover every day. Our location is unique: childcare IN the gym! After school, children are picked up from various primary schools in the area and enter a world of sport and play. Every day focuses on movement. We provide a daily sports session and regularly organise trips to sports clubs, swimming pools, playgrounds, the beach, heathland and forests. Our pedagogical staff guide children in exploring different sports and encourage them to develop their motor skills. Besides sports, there is also room for rest and creativity. Children can draw, craft, build or simply relax. We work with an adaptive pedagogical policy that takes into account each child's unique characteristics. Child participation is highly valued: children are encouraged to think along about activities, rules and group setup. Our opening hours are flexible: after-school care from 14:00 to 18:15, and on Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:45 to 18:15. During school holidays we provide care from 07:00 to 18:15.
