Basker IKC - Het Startblok

Welcome to KDV Sport IKC Het Startblok, located at Klapstraat 205 in the heart of Westervoort. We provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a safe and homely atmosphere. Our daycare is part of the Integral Child Center (IKC) where education, childcare and sports come together. The fresh, challengingly designed group spaces offer wonderful play and development opportunities. For the little ones we have safe playpens where babies can explore peacefully, while toddlers enjoy themselves in themed corners full of challenging toys. Movement is central to our approach. We believe that through sports and play, children not only develop their physical skills, but also learn important social and cognitive skills. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with lots of love and attention in their development. We work with small groups so that each child gets the space to develop at their own pace. Our daily schedule is calm and predictable, exactly what young children need. We offer various rest moments and there is always room for a nap in our cozy sleeping areas. For the youngest we have separate baby rooms where they can sleep peacefully. The garden offers plenty of opportunities to play and explore outside. Everything is included with us: from diapers and care products to healthy meals, fruit and snacks. All activities and excursions are also included in the rate. We work closely with parents and keep everyone informed of their child's development through the Parro app.
