Welcome to BSO Sport IKC Het Startblok, located at Klapstraat 205 in the heart of Westervoort. Our Integral Child Centre provides after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 in an environment where sport and movement take centre stage. We are part of Zonnekinderen childcare, a label of Babilou Family Nederland, and work closely with the primary school housed in the same modern building. Children are given plenty of room to make their own choices. They don’t have to do anything, but they can do everything. We offer a wide range of sporting activities tailored to each child’s world of experience. Think team sports, movement and play that not only bring joy but also foster motor development, cooperation and self-confidence. The Kanjertraining is part of our approach: children learn respect for one another and discover their own talents. Our pedagogical staff are ready every day with a dynamic and enthusiastic team. They guide children with homework, provide quiet moments and organise challenging activities. The Young Child playground offers lots of outdoor challenges, while inside there is a fresh, modern atmosphere. Healthy eating and understanding why this is important for the body are part of our daily guidance. Parents and school work together. We believe open communication and trust are essential. Our door is always open for questions about childcare, school hours or your child’s development. Together we provide a safe, secure place where every child can develop into who they want to be.
