BSO Teens

At BSO Teens on Langeweg 2 in Vianen, children aged 9 to 12 feel right at home. We are part of Stichting Dichtbij Kinderopvang and offer a place where your child can relax, discover new things and have fun with friends. Our location has room for up to 30 children and is specially designed for the world of experience of older primary school students. Every afternoon starts with a moment of rest; we take the time to listen to the stories about school. Then the children choose how they want to spend their afternoon. Does your child feel like doing nothing for a while, gaming or chilling with friends? Fine! Does he or she want to participate in a sporting activity or creative workshop? Also good! We offer activities every day in the areas of exercise, experience and relaxation. During school holidays we organize fun outings, for example to the park, a museum or another fun destination. Our pedagogical staff pick up the children on foot from school. When several schools finish at the same time or we have an outing, we use the BSO bus. We always ask permission in advance via the parent portal. We work with fixed base groups, so that every child sees a familiar face and feels safe. At the same time, children can participate in activities in other rooms, so that there is sufficient variety within a familiar environment. At BSO Teens we stimulate talent development by guiding children in discoveries, creativity and independence. We think it is important that children think along and make their own choices. In this way they grow in freedom and self-confidence. Standards, values and clear agreements provide guidance. We see that children learn to deal better with others and the world around them.
